before the temperatures reach the mid to upper 90s today I'll be cutting the lawn in this hemp OR... and most likely wearing it for the rest of the day

Well worn, bro!

You got me feeling a strong need for a straw Open Road.

Thanks Red. I have one of these in black too. Will have to pull that out one of these hot, but cloudy days.

Thanks Blue. You and the St Regis pegged the Style-O-Meter yesterday. Super.

Promising another hot and very windy day here. For this morning around the yard it's this Champ Featherweight,

For this afternoon around the yard it will be this John Deere accented straw,

And from yesterday afternoon when I went of photo safari it was this,

That's one of the younguns. And here is the grand dame contemplating the nature of her Chuck-Hog duality.

Have a fine Sunday. It's going to be tough to talk myself into getting my exercise today.

Michael
Looks like you might get to exercise your trigger finger and look really cool while you are at it. You can pretend to be the Feds and get rid of those pesky gangsters that are corrupting your garden.

Stunning shots, Fabio. Beautiful!

For me, a boring ol' BGGCD goes to services with me today.

The rest of the day I'll be loafing around; later doing that front porch/beer/radio thing when the ballgame comes on. With any luck, I'll doze off, too. [emoji41]

sitting out back right now sipping a Twin Elephant brew listening to the Yankees spank the Orioles on the radio ... the soothing dulcet tones of John Sterling.
just thought to myself ... I wonder if Jim is doing the same.
(but of course not the Yankee game)

A lot of nice looking hats this Sunday afternoon. Everyone looks great. Wearing my latest conversion creation again today. Resistol Stagecoach. The open crown height is 5 3/4. As creased, it's 4 3/4 at the pinch with a rake sloping to 4 1/4. The brim is 2 5/8 with a contrasting 1 5/8 ribbon. I used a 23 1/8 straight sided block for this conversion. Gives me a nice 7 1/4. I'll post more pics in the Conversion Corral sometime this week.

Marty Brennaman.

But back porch, not front. Leinenkugel Summer Shandy and some peanuts.

It's 88F

I don't know. I have a Royal Stetson Saxon. It has a little bigger brim and is a different shade of grey than this one, so I don't think it is. It has no tags or markings other than what's embossed on the sweatband, though, so I can't be sure.

I took a side by side pic in the daylight. You can see some of the differences.

With the teardrop crown and brim I would venture a guess that you have a Stetson Mercury.
