Upon closer examination, @Michael A, that may be a Ground Hog, which begs the question of how much ground could a ground a ground hog grind IF a ground hog COULD grind ground, too. Doesn't it, Moe?!

Temps close to 100F. today so Optimo monti.
It is a warm and sunny day here, so I'm wearing my vintage English Olney Panama Hat. The brim has long ago given up the ghost, giving it a slightly 'Popeye' Doyle look!

I stumbled upon this c. 1960s Knox Foxhound at the Salvation Army in Clifton Forge, VA during the early 1990s. That makes it my first hat. So it holds a special place in the area of my heart reserved for hats.

It could use a blocking (as could I).

A merry Saturday to each of you.

Going all 1918 today! The box of Agrippa Crease Clips arrived from the Island of Cypress yesterday. I tried one on my San Francisco Hatters low crown fedora. Gives it that early century look that we see in those birds eye view group shots. They ended up costing me just under $2.00 a piece. I'm willing to share the wealth, free postage (they weight nothing). Send me a PM and I'll get them out early next week. Cool beans! I am with Dh 66 nearly 10:00am cst here and time for a beer.

It is hot and humid. Hot and humid are not words that are frequently used in Minnesota weather decriptions. It is already low 80's and 65% humidity. Jeepers! Expectations of mid 90's and humid by late afternoon.

Yard work yesterday. Yes I wore a ball cap as the thing was soaked when I finished. I was soaked and I jumped into the lake to cool off.

[ First things first - a Guinness Stout to ready me for the effort.
