It is hard to catch up with all the super lids posted today so late in the day. So, please excuse the extended multi-quote barrage.

Beautiful day to be hatted

every one of you inspires me

If you look up the definition of beautiful hat in the dictionary, this Stratoliner is the picture you see. Love the color and the pristine condition of this one.

Hey folks!
French Friday here on the NorCal coast. The Maximes mystery hat on top today.

And because sun...:)

Have a great day!

The color is much richer and darker in these photos today. Maybe it is my monitor, but I'm liking it!

Waiting for the train to take me home... this necklace that my mother has bought me requires a "mint" version of this hat though.

Looking stylish as usual. My wife digs the necklace!

I have been remiss in telling you how impressed I am with this latest creation. Love your finish work, and the ribbon/bow is da bomb. Good on you brother!

Another beautiful straw my friend. You must have 100 of them, it always is a treat to see them.

Went out in the yard to try to get some pictures of this woodchuck,

Enough shade for both you and your friend the woodchuck under that one. Sweet!

Hückel (Weilheim) Chevreau probably mid to late 1950s. Just received this one.

Beautiful color and lines Steve. It seems that the liner work in these hats is a class above. Class all the way!

No wonder we haven't seen much from Esther of late. She has been busy making you a dozen hats! This one is a beaut Harv, great finish.

Missed this beauty today, wow what a hat. You wear it with aplomb. Love a man who know how to wear a pocket square!
Thank you very much Red!! I've always enjoyed them as a great way to pull an outfit together. One of these days I might be brave enough to try a boutonnière on a suit or sportcoat. I've only ever worn them with a tuxedo or dinner jacket.

I seem to have misplaced a number of my straw hats from last year. Wonder where I hid them?

Have a good weekend,
Michael

We can't really complain. Apart from the occasional thunderstorm it's been mostly warm and dry for this time of year. I switched from felt to straw about two weeks ago. Just to busy to take photos.

I wouldn't mind a thunderstorm here. Hope the new job is going well.

Were you able to determine how much wood it could chuck? That is, if it could.
I think it had become bored with chucking wood and was scoping the garden for delicacies.
