I'm really enjoying the parade of Esther creations Harv! This one has me wanting a super tall crown hat, it is inspirational!
That little BBQ is a hoot Charlie! That VS is truly a stunner. Is the Dove color a very light grey with other tones?

Eric, thank you. This comparison is so wonderful. Now I'm thinking about a bone or silvermist Whippet Clone from Mike Gannon. Did the original Whippets ever come in such light colors, I wonder? I'm filing away another of your great images.

Great looking Stratoliner! Very very sharpRainy and wet Oregon Weather today, typical. Venturing out today in my Sage Stratoliner. After seeing the great looking
sage Stetsons from Jeremy and Bob, I am behooved to join the club. Photo from the archives. View attachment 76383
Indeed!!Looks like he's doing a @Bob Roberts impersonation...
Love the hat band and cool vent holes on this one Bob. This straw has everything going for it! Yay!
it did, it dried and is wet again (-:It survived well Karl!
That Temple us a good lookin hat. Recent production of course.View attachment 76392 Happy Seersucker Day! Sadly I don't have a Panama at the moment as I sold my Stetson Retro to help fund my John Penman Cuenca custom. I also don't have a Silverbelly hat ( yet that is lol). This is the most "neutral" hat I have Stetson Royal Deluxe Temple. Hopefully it doesn't look too off or out of place.
Yep, rainy and cool here, too, Red. MrsFed is in with the oral surgeon having 2 bad teeth removed. Yuck.It survived well Karl! It never ceases to amaze me how our hats take such a beating and keep on ticking! (Old Timex watch slogan, to explain for you young folks...)
Super nice Eric! Love the clean and classy look of this Gannon, ideas are spinning around in my head...
You always share such beautiful hats, I like the color and lines of this Peters Bros. Is it custom or do they have models like this "off the rack"?
Breathtaking Monti David. This is one of my favorites of yours.

I'm smiling ear to ear! Nice cap too, but those youngin's...priceless.
Well put together as usual, I gaze upon the class you exude in each of your images. Thank you.
If the modern cars weren't in the back ground, this photo could be from 1950. Well, the coffee cup too. Great look 101!
I'm liking the contrast of the ribbon/binding work on this Gannon Jim. Sharp!

Hutproduktiv (Wien) "Standard" probably later 1930s. I just received this one.
Thanks, more research is in process right now. Keep em coming, I have enjoyed each image.Dove felt is a light gray. IMO, it is the most versatile color of the Winchester beaver felts. Charlies is a marvelous example of VS hats. I covet this hat of Charlie.
I submit another dove felt (below of a VS Stratoliner clone in dove gray w/charcoal trim) for your consideration.
Colors - I have seen some lighter (silver belly and fawn) colored whippets showcased in the Lounge Whippet thread. Silvermist did not exist in the "vintage" Whippet days.
It came from Moon a number of months ago. He had already creased it with the most beautiful diamond, what I call the "Moon diamond". It is the "Excellent" quality version. Great felt, soft and supple. Love this hat, one of my best moderns.Great looking Stratoliner! Very very sharp
