Hey Alan, today you look like a wealthy Ranchero from the highlands of Jalisco !! Just leaving the hacienda house to go check the herd of European Swiss cows and the blue Agave fields.

There is a lot of blonde people with blue and green eyes in the highlands, coming from a group of French soldiers who stayed in Mexico in the mid 1800's...

Thank you for the nice excuse for a daydream. I am enjoying those blue agaves!

Early morning Cinnamon tea with cognac watching the sunrise over the Agave field..... The smell, the shades, so beautiful.

Maybe we could even go to a bullfight bulls ranch... I bet you will like it, not as much as I like that Nutria !!

I totally missed the event of my 5000th obsessive post! I just want to thank this community/family for a wonderful year. This forum is my only outlet for my love of hats. Reading and reading, I have learned so much from everyone. New friends coming in on a daily basis like Karl, Jeremy, 101 Pathfinder, and so many more. This place makes my heart warm.

Today it will be 80 degrees so for errands, the Capas Panama from Mike at NW Hats (My Hatter). Tomorrow it is going to cool off enough to trot out the Strato-Knox again.
