Thanks for the "feel better" wishes from a couple days ago. They worked. I seem to be back to just about (ab)normal. And smashing head covers yesterday, all.

Today I go with a Royal Stetson DeLuxe Iusedtobehomburg that was converted. It has a really nifty subtle mint green hue in the right kind of light.

I say it just about every time I post it: my goal is to rehomburgize it at some point. For those of you with custom hat ownership experience... of the hatters out there, any suggestions as to who does the best homburg work?

Happy Wednesday.[emoji2]

Early morning pics struggling to portray the grandeur of a vintage Stetson 7X Clear Beaver presentation fedora. Wow what felt!

It will have to be another occasion to better capture this glorious felted fedora.
Fantastahat Eric.

How wide is the brim? It reminds me of the weird one that I have. Though your brim looks wider.

And yeah... the felt on mine is insane, too... molds like clay. Just WOW!

I gotta get me one of these. I've been thinking about what hat I want from Art. I assume he still makes these?

Glad to hear you are feeling better Matt. That color is so light and summer like. Is it a "bone" or a really light gray. Love the edge binding!

^^^^What he said (@DJH).

If you are going to suffer a puncture in a classic MG, here's a tip. Do it dressed like this:

Tina and I were going to a rather special event when the puncture happened. I stood at the roadside, looking at the flat, cursing my luck. Maybe it's because I had that air of useless idiot about me, but who cares, out of the blue a most charming young guy, in a brand new Ferrari, pulled up and had my wheel changed in minutes. I thanked him profusely, told him that we were going to a charity event and that we would like to make, on his behalf, a donation to that charity. He shook hands with me, joked about excusing his dirty skin and said that it would please him greatly if we did just that. What a gent!

What a great encounter. The Ferrari owner was probably impressed with your outfit and beautiful MG. I would have stopped also.

Even past official straw day, we can hold on to the love of fur a while longer.
