Dressed up my Dobbs for summer today. Took the lead from Memphislawyer and ordered a couple new ribbons from Buckaroo Hatters in Covington, TN. Mike Moore was easy to talk to and work with. He quickly sent this plaid ribbon for summer time.

This is great news. I am always amazed when I read the Early Church Fathers and how they viewed and interpreted Baptism compared to our understanding today. Good news, Moon, good news indeed!

I can't say I'm a big fan of black hats myself, but I think the proportions on that hat, and the color, suit you very well. If I were you I'd give it some serious consideration before I modified it.

Certainly it is no longer time for finished hats with short hair, but the temptation to wear it on a sunny day was very strong.
It has just arrived and deserves a trip to the garden

Borsalino "Folco" color with sewn lining

Sold in Molise a few years ago

The felt is soft and finished with a beautiful short hair very similar to a Borsalino bought in the US last winter

The shape is very classic with 5.5 cm brim and 11.5 cm crown.

By the way I come home with a straw hat in my head
