Orvil , Are you off the boat for good (seems you were sailing I think for a while), or just on shore leave ? Sweet Hats !

Wife and I have been sailing together for twenty years. No plans to bury the anchor just yet. After several voyages between the US mainland and Hawaii and a few seasons cruising SE Alaska and the San Juans, the boat needs a major refit, now in progress. Hope to have her seaworthy again this summer. We have, however, become quite fond of Alaska and there are so many islands and fjords to explore here, not to mention the hunting and fishing, we could spend a decade or more just cruising between Juneau and Seattle. Then there are our old shipmates from HM Bark Endeavour in OZ who have been begging us to sail down for a visit. Who knows? It's a big world and life is short.
