Hey Mike, and thanks. They were out of Yonkers, NY and closed up shop some indeterminate time post-WWII, perhaps as late as 1953. Here is a link to the thread "Going Atomic with Dalton." There are some interesting posts regarding the little-known history of this hatter, but you'll find the bulk of the thread to be populated by, well, me.
Thanks Jim, I will read up on the brand. Always looking to expand my hat knowledge. You are the Dalton King!

It is a clone of Borsalino, made in the same factory fifties or more years ago

I bought it in stock, with brothers same color in other sizes, some years ago for a nice price

It si everyday hat used mostly with rain, even if today is a sunny day!
Buon Mercoledì and thanks for your likes for the blue Tonak
Interesting maker, Tanaro. Like the look and color of this one. Are they related to Borsalino in any way?

Red Tanaro is the river that pass in Alessandria ;)
This hat was made for sure in the Borsalino factory and labeled with a fancy name to cover, probably, a segment of the Italian market
Borsalino used during the years many "alternatives" brand name for the average production. A marketing strategy!

Cool! Does the liner logo have a "Borsalino" look to it?

Thanks Servge!

Chilly out and I can't find my favorite gloves. Willner's "Special" will test the high wind theory of bowler wear,
