I remember that nice visit and the crazy storm... good times, Josh! No, that purchase was this 1940s green Dobbs homburg with nice lion rondel that I sold some time back.

Two hat day. Had to run out this afternoon, so I grabbed the rusty trusty Adam Executive Pacesetter. Still a great go-to beater!

Thanks everyone! You're all looking great again and I am way too exhausted to reply to you all individually. Day of rest tomorrow luckily. I think I need some more time to fully recover from this nasty flu because everything aches. The doctor said it seems like the whole town has been struck down by the virus all winter. I should count myself lucky I've only had it twice so far...

Special mention to @alanfgag, probably hat of the day for me, that homburg is beautiful. Oh and I still can't get used to @mmbarnes without the beard!

This just got to my house this evening. It had been hanging out with @bond for a new sweatband and a blocking. I've had the hat for 3 or so years but never wore it as the sweatband was missing when it came my way.

I turned it over to my son back then. He gave it back to me a couple of weeks ago since he never wears it. Only then did i discover the vintage. 1930s Dobbs homburg...

This just got to my house this evening. It had been hanging out with @bond for a new sweatband and a blocking. I've had the hat for 3 or so years but never wore it as the sweatband was missing when it came my way.

Beautiful homburg. I love how varied your hat collection is. Does your son wear/appreciate hats at all or is he too old to think everything you do is awesome but too young to realise you are right?
