Stetson actually has some beautiful hemp straw offerings on the Delmonico's website. You should take a look now before they get sold out. I obviously needed straws in other colors than I already have...are you not a lounge member or what ? :)

I'm guessing he was referring to the Panama straw hats you posted along with the Peruvian wool felt hats earlier...

Super sweet Steve.
Red, Thanks! Super 1930s Stetson Derby!

Another beauty, but of course I expect no less from you ;) Love the brim on this one...
Celia, Thanks too! Good see you are feeling better. Fantastic Fernandez y Roche and Céline Robert. Really like the bow work on the Fernandez y Roche.

Rock solid stare under that Flexible, Steve.
Striking hat. Striking juxtaposition.
Matt, Thank you! I had my eyes checked about 1 hour prior so my pupils were dilated. Sorry I was a bit out of it. :) Your Flying Cloud Hats Amish is in sink with my Hückel "Flexible". Also always great to see your Adam "Polar"!

I've returned to the land of the living (I think everyone's had the flu this winter!) only to see hundreds of hats to catch up with here... I am sure you all look great, but I'll check them all out later.

Two hat day today to make up for all the hatless days in bed. Sorry for the blurry pics, must remember to stop walking when taking photos next time. My brain still doesn't qute work properly...

Welcome back, Celia. Glad you're feeling better.

Tell us about the straw hats, too! :)

The straw hats were on average $5. Some were purchased from wholesalers for $3. One was purchased in the tourist zone for $10.

They are actually made from paper but are surprisingly resistant.

The panamas are 100% Paja Toquilla from Ecuador $28 each. I have never seen a wine colored panama until I scored one on my last day. I went all over that city looking at shops.

I will feature them one by one eventually.

I'm happy because returned the pleasure of walking even though the days are too hot for the period

I do not have much time to introduce my last finds, therefore, I will do for now wearing them

Felt is the high quality of Panizza, as well as the finishes

The license for Dobbs and Knox brands made in Italy (Cappellificio Panizza) was from the year 1957

The inner lining is however very usual and the marks are printed with little accuracy. Good sweat band

There are no other sources to date the hat, no label paper

The hat was sold by Cabella's Hat shop in Milan, which still exists, before 1970, as reflected in the telephone numbers printed without the area code of Milan.
At the earliest, I will photograph it without my face

This is my favorite in the two last weeks
Thanks for the likes on the short brim Barbisio

Buon Venerdì a tutti!

Buon Venerdì a tutti!
Very nice Daniele, love your scarf.

Happy Friday.

Wearing the charcoal Knox Twenty that @moontheloon was kind enough to teleport to my house back in the olden days (I think it was late 2015).

Have a greatabulisticaliscious end of the week.
Superdappermagnificilious Knox Matt.
(I love the Beach Boys)

Texas Hatters “misty grey” western – it started life in the 1960s as Stetson 10X Rancher and TH in Lockhart revived it for me last year (clean, reblock, new ribbon, sweat, liner, etc.).

A real beauty TPD.
