Error in "What hat should I wear?" judgment this morning... About 20 minutes after leaving home, temps dropped and the wind started howling. Nearly lost the Dobbs into the wild grey yonder in downtown Norfolk as gusts buffetted me.

Stopped by home for a close curled derby. 1910s or so Extra Quality Knox. Let the wind blow as it will. This hat ain't goin' nowhere.

Jet Blue is down for the count but Amtrak says pshaw to a NYC snowstorm. At least I'm hoping. 8 hours to Buffalo... maybe I can finally catch up on my Lounge friends.

That hat is beautiful (although I really should have written the word entirely in capital letters for emphasis).

Here's hoping that the tried and true rails get you home through the storm, even if those newfangled airplanes can't.
