Heading out to early Mass under the Royal DeLuxe Stetson that was transformed from a homburg by @bond. It has a lovely minty hue in the appropriate lighting.

From what I recall, when he stumbled upon it the brim binding was a mess. I think that his TLC resulted in an extraordinarily nice looking hat. Thanks @bond!

these are great images, they tell a story that your son will remember throughout his years. Just think about him showing his son these in a few years. I can imagine the conversation..."Can I have grandpa's hat?" "Of course son, he passed it to me, and you will have it when you can fit into it."
