I did say "Nice hat":)
What bourbon, btw? I tried one called Rip Van Winkle back in my drinkin' days that was like nectar...if nectar was over 100 proof! Should you ever get the opportunity to try it, don't pass.
Especially if someone else is buying!

I had two last night. Something called Larceny, which was pretty good, and Jefferson Reserve, which was excellent. There are so many out there now; I normally drink rum, and my selections are limited there.

I've never been one to drink whiskeys and bourbons, but I'm starting to acquire a taste.

That's a really nice colour hat, and that plum liner is especially beautiful. A nice liner just makes the hat feel that little bit more special when you're wearing it.

Another really nice colour. I must be one of very few people here who doesn't own one of these Akubras. Come to think of it, I think I only own one hat that isn't European...

But that fur hat is certainly stylish. Everyone will be looking at it with enyy!
Something went wrong with the quotation system there, but I found your reply in the end :) Thank you very much, I do try to dress well even in sub zero temperatures (or in heat waves). A hat always helps in those (or any) circumstances.

Lock and Co for Brooks Brothers and a very unique 40s two tone tie. My great grandma tailored this suit probably in the 70s when she worked at a local department store that has long been closed. I find her work in local thrift stores from time to time. Neat how things come full circle sometimes!

How nice to come across your great grandmother's work and be able to wear it! I am sure she would be proud of you :)

@Celia i live in Argentina, so summer time for me.
Lucky you :) They promised warmer weather here today, but it's still -2C. Of course that's not as bad as yesterday's -6...

I hope it didn't get blown off your head!

Great to see that one on your head as well! I hope one day you'll discover the origin of those mystery hats...

The powder blue Gannon went to a meeting today.
Love the contrasting ribbon and brim binding, very striking look.

Kookie, Kuki ;) Is it stitched or knitted?

Hey all!
Many thanks for the likes and commenrs on yesterday's Brent.
Today, the rain that has been coming down sideways all day has stopped long enough to throw on this 20's Marathon Velour and get a pic or three.

Hope it stops for a while. I'm going stir crazy just being cooped up half a day.
Have a great afternoon!

Ah, now I see your bow inspiration! You did a great job replicating that style on the hat you wore the other day.

A bar: check.

Bourbon (my new exploration): check.

Moss Green Gannon: Checkity-check check!

Sounds like a good night, although I'm more of a Scotch person. And even though I know it's not very fashionable, I do like an Irish coffee. Especially in the weather we're having. Never really got into Bourbon I'm afraid.

Looks great with the eyes!
I always got told my eyes are my best feature, so I just decided to get rid of the rest ;)

Stratoliner this evening.

What a great way to start my morning: seeing all the awesome hats from yesterday. A special shout-out to @Kuki for the best hat ever.

Esther - love those colors together; subtle but striking.

Joao - That is your color, compadre. Black suits you well. Fabulous hat.
