Thanks bAm. I've been re-watching Foyle's War and really like the hats favored by Foyle and other police officers. Slight downturn in the front, slight upturn in the rear and a bit of shape to the sides of the brim. This hat just naturally seems to want that shape. By the way, I watched the first season on Peaky Blinders. I've got my supply of razor blades laid in, but I'm having trouble deciding which cap looks deadliest.

You'll love Season Two! Season Three is inferior to the first two but still better than 95% of American television.

Hey all!
As usual, everyone is looking mighty well-hatted.
Today is sunny and almost warm. Wearing my 50's Pimbell, which I am 98% sure is made by Cavanaugh.

This is only the second hat I've tried this on and it worked like a charm. My last CD I wore it on a few summer walks and sweated it up a bit.

I got the tip from Bob Roberts, but haven't had the need to do it much.

Turn the sweat out, sponge it, let it soak in for a minute, then toss it on the lampshade with the sweat turned out for ~20 min.

Not for vintage, of course!!

Sent directly from my mind to yours.
Thanks Jim! I need to decide whether I want to keep mine. The color is so similar to my RM that I am inclined to sell it but it looks so good on you!
