I'm going long sleeves, sweater and
Many fine hats already for a Friday morn. Any plans for the weekend?

Michael

Great outfit again today Michael, you really have an eye for combining fabrics and colours. I always enjoy your pictures.

Stunning Celia!

Thank you very much. How are you feeling today? Hope you get well soon.

And the quality of lids just keeps a'comin' in this thread!
Chilliness in the air..Anton Peschel time...

Wow! This is something I really love about this place. If I saw that hat in a shop I wouldn't look at it twice, but seeing you wear it makes me see it in a totally differen light. That is such a great look you've got going there!

Woke up to a little sun, and 16 F. Pretty cold for this area. Off work and running errands in my NW Hats western to outback conversion. Add gloves to this picture and you get the full picture. Layers, and gloves!

Looking good! I'm always jealous of people who look good in pale hats, they make me look like a ghost...

Today I've got a steel gannon up top and a star wars shirt since I'll be seeing the new flick tonight. View attachment 62804 View attachment 62805

Nice! Enjoy the film tonight!

Yes! Another one for brown hat day! That is one beautiful brown hat, just right.

Harv, you are my hero too. No way I'm going out in short sleeves, but I'll go out with breakfast long enough to take a bite and a pic!
Wind chills are supposed to reach -45F in the next day or so.

That picture's making me hungry now... Nice hat too, great photo.

Felt like a Portis kind of day.
View attachment 62815

Looking good. Is it green or does it just look like that on my screen?

Bama, that Stetsonian is superb!
40, the Portis is glorious!

I've been choosing grey hats a lot lately, something about the cold weather encourages it, I guess.

3X Stetson Fifteen

This old favorite of mine, I think is a forties hat judging by price and style. 3 inch brim! illedgible lot number. Can read "Pearl" though. Must be the color

Pearl... I like that. The dark ribbon is perfect, lovely bow.

Hey folks!
Showing my colors with my tie-dye brothers. An oh-so-green John Batterson to top it off.

Funny...I'd swear that was a smiley face 6 weeks ago...
Have a great day!

What a t-shirt... You made me smile today :)

Had a BLAST at Star Wars last night. It was a really fun movie and as a fan I was totally satisfied. In fact, the wife wants to go see it again, which further confirms that I married the right woman =)

Anyway! Today is a rainy off-Friday for me, so I'm lounging at home in the Duke and Dingham and a real cheap Rooster cap:

That cap really suits you, but I LOVE that smoking jacket! Too cool!

Daniele, what can I say... That hat really is stunning, it just looks perfect on you. The situation with borsalino is very sad. Thank you for the beautiful landscape as well, I need to visit Italy again. Vague plans for this summer...

Thank you!
The situation in Borsalino is an "Italian job"
It is difficult to understand, that at present, a grim battle that will probably bring dire consequences for all; first the workers who have a professionalism and skills hard to find in the current world of hats. It could be a capital that is lost.
If you will come to Italy, and you wanted to see the city of Verona and the surrounding area, let me know I'll be happy to give you tips and have a glass of wine together

Many thanks, everyone, for the positive comments on today's red hat.

Year-end at the office keeps me running, so I don't have the luxury of reading all of the comments in a leisurely manner, but I HAVE seen the comments and appreciate them. I wish I could respond to each of you, but my time is not my own right now. Glad to have a good job, and looking forward to when the workload slows down so I can converse with everyone again.

Have a great weekend, everyone!

Thank you very much for the offer, that's really nice of you. I will keep it in mind. I have a friend who lives in Venice who keeps reminding me I need to come visit again. Verona would practically be on the way there...

I hope changes can be made and borsalino can be saved, it is a bad situation like you say. My friend says there are so many problems like it in Italy...

- Nice colours, great styling! Have fun in Bruges. Beautiful city, and maybe not so jam packed with tourists and smelly from the canals now as it is in summer?

Bruges was work :)
No smell. Thanks for asking.
And thank you. It's one of my favorites

[QUOTE="Miamibruno, post: 2181453, member: 28070"]Red – Hoping for the best.

Joao – That Buckaroo is beautiful. Awesome color combo.

Esther – I’m sure it is beautiful, but I can’t really tell in that picture. Just saw the later post. Beautiful indeed.

Celia – I’ve been doing Borsalinos all week. Yours is gorgeous. Beautiful lines on that hat.

Strapped – You are AWESOME. I’m smiling just looking at these pictures. If that ain’t holiday spirit, I don’t know what is.

Hato – After Strapped’s hat, this one is just too darn pale. (Great hat, though).

Kuki – You are definitely a designer. That first shot could be an add for that beer. The hat looks wonderful on you. Very 20’s.

MM – Awesome hat. You like fabulous in that derby.

RJR - In all honesty, I never thought I'd see those colors on your noggin. But I love it!

hatsRme – OMG. I can’t stop laughing. That is the best post I’ve seen all year. ALL YEAR. Someone get me off the floor.

In keeping with my Borsalino week, this charcoal fedora that I almost sold. Shame on me. It has turned into one of my favorite hats.

That is a beautiful Hückel, the colour of the liner is really luscious.

I've been browsing through your website a bit, it's a real treasure trove of information and images. You must have the largest databank on German and Austrian hats out there, and perhaps the largest collection of actual hats. Very impressive.
