I'll get this in quick and check back later (busy holiday stuff today).

Out Christmas tree shopping, this one is just right

To our Eco minded friends out there, my apologies, I cut this poor tree from it's roots and it goes to a slow death in my living room.
Live trees are actually more eco-friendly than artificial trees due to the amount of petroleum products used to produce artificial trees. At least that is what I have read.
Looks like a good tree but an even better hat!

Great hat, Tommy. You can't throw an artificial tree into a lake or river to create habitat for fish nor can it be turned into mulch. Straight to the landfill.

Sorry for the repeat. Wearing my "Quigley Down Under" inspired Resistol 3X again today, while walking my fluffy dog this morning. Great collection of lids, btw. I wish I had some just as nice in my collection. You're all looking good...

Only those of us who grew up on Parsons Ave on the South Side of Columbus, Ohio can appreciate this one. I don't live there anymore, thank God. Yee Haw!

Brooks bros Lock and Co today. Another beater, but I bet this baby was one seriously nice hat in its heyday.

I remember the Lucky Strike cigarette ad in your avatar pic when I was a kid. LS/MFT...Lucky Strike, Means Fine Tobacco. It also means lung cancer. My Dad died from it some years back. He was a heavy smoker most of his life. Nice hat, though.

Thanks for the kind words and likes

Sounds good, I'm going to keep that one at the ready!

Our town here mulches (can that word be a verb?) the trees after the holidays so it will go back into the ecosystem

Great hat and a great tweed coat that is paired with it. Good look all around.

Looking dapper as always Michael, I admire that you do not let something like freezing weather hinder your style! The new hat looks great and I prefer the side view, from the front it looks a bit small to me, still a great hat :)

I'm not sure hunting pants can make it to dapper territory, but I am at least comfortably dressed for the weather. The hat is, indeed, a bit on the small side for me. Maybe it will grow into me. Or maybe when I trim my beard down the proportion will be better. Ha ha.

Luckies are good tasting cigarettes, if you're a smoker. But I definitely don't smoke them often. They killed Bogie, after all, as well. Plus they're only available as nonfilters in the US. I consider them "special occasion" smokes. Perhaps I'm just cynical but I'm fairly certain something will kill me before smoking does, but nonetheless I've cut back considerably.
