So busy yesterday and this morning that I had no time to get on the forum. All the pics are great, and I don't dare mentioning any specifics for fear of neglecting to mention others.

Took a moment between showers to snap a shot of today's Jaxon Raiders clone. It's all wool, but sheds water fairly well after being treated with Scotchgard. One of my go-to wet weather hats.

Does the woman make the beret or does the beret make the woman? Either way you look great in red.

Michael
Thank you Michael. You look mighty cool for shovelling.
Very beautiful. The hat's nice, too.
Thx :)

Welcome to WHAYWT, Cristina. Good to see a new face! Great brooch and hat.

Good morning, Esther! You do look festive.

Off to church in a Silvermist Gannon.

Happy Sunday all.

Sent directly from my mind to yours.

Why thank you Jim. So do you!

Lovely beret, dress and photo. Very chic.

Have fun receptioning.
Thanks Matt. It was more work that reception I'm afraid. Although I did steal half a bottle of bubbly in the end ;)

You look fantastic. I hope the reception was fun!

Thx!
You look great!
Thank you.

You're going to break the "Like" button today, Esther!
And thank you for the well wishes yesterday. All will be great!
Charlie, I'm thinking about you tomorrow!
And thx.

We visited my daughter and son-in-law on hoity-toity Lake Winnipesauke. Surprised they let me in around there. We were restricted to the "other" side of the lake, though.

She's the perfect mix of the both of you.

Very nice. :)
Sorry you have to work on a Sunday.

Thanks Harv. It's okay. It comes with the territory. December is madness
Very Festive! And a lovely look for a Holiday party.
Thx!

Here's a hat I don't wear that often. Not because I don't like it, but because I like it so much and don't want to wear it out.

I've had this hat for several years. I got it from Miller, and they used to list it as the "Chicago" hat. I liked it so much that I ordered another one in gray, but although the name was the same, the style had changed.
That one looks great on you my friend !!!

Out doing the Eric thing, surveying how much snow I'll have to shovel. Can't decide whether to go all plaid,

Or stick with my go to snow shoveling cap.

I decided on my homemade cap to go with my homemade shirt.

Thanks Esther. I live on the edge of town so country wear is de rigueur for snow shoveling.:)

Thanks Red. Since my snow shoveling during the early season snows requires a generous amount of time to stand around and admire the snow I had to throw a Woolrich mackinaw jacket over the plaids. It was a nice bright red one though, wouldn't want to be mistaken for a deer.

Gotta luv a Cav! Nice color, and ribbon. What era, does the liner say Cavanagh New York or does it have the address?
Here's a pic of the liner. The sweat is stiffer than I'd like to turn out far enough for tag pics, but it looks to me to be a 50's factory tag with the block depth number on it. So, my estimate is late 50's with that short 2" brim.

That's a very elegant hat. Neat brooch, too.

Welcome. Nice to see another lady who might be able to class up the joint a bit. Although she pulls it off exceptionally well, it has never seemed quite fair to me that Esther has had to bear that heavy burden by herself.

Enjoy.

Thank you @mmbarnes I will try no to leave Esther on her own in the future, we're certainly in good company!

This is the liner my two Cav stingies have. According to Brad's website, we are looking at late 50s to early 60s. The 2" brim model is cool. Nothing better than the feel of that Cavanagh quality!
