Beautiful!Lobbia Borsalino in a cold morning for the week dedicated to "Antica Casa di Alessandria" production
It arrived from Italy in bad condition. It was sold in Bratislava (Czech Republic)
The paper label was ripped and it not readable
From the liner it could be made before WWII (It is my presumption)
The color is for sure "Mirtillo" and the ribbon is original like the curled brim with some damage
BSHW did the restoration in a superb way
The felt is thick and very malleable
This Lobbia (as we call this type of hats) was a big dilemma because I did not know if it was worth to restore it, then color and shape convinced me.
Mirtillo (blueberry) is one of my favorite colors of Borsalino production
Thanks for the likes on the Borsalino Trionfo of yesterday
Great hat, Mark and worn with aplomb! I'm honored to have played a small role in getting it onto your head.A rare late morning allows me to get a shot using actual sunlight for a change. I want to thank mmbarnes for the inspiration to wear this hat and ofcoursemyhorse for allowing me to purchase this wonderful hat from him. Some of the most malleable felt I've touched and such a pleasure to wear.
Always love the black ones, Joao! But you need to be more serious about wider brims...I can say the same in my Country.
And also here in the Lounge. I keep seeing tiny tiny hats all over the place.
To counter that, today a BIG HUGE black hat
Stetson Tom Mix
Welcome aboard. My name is Matt (Harv was already taken) and I'm in Virginia Beach.I have hats but I hardly wear them. It feels so weird in public since nobody wears them. All I see are snapbacks. And it doesn't help that I'm an introvert.

One of my favorites of yours, Harv (if in fact HARV is your real name). And it's looking kick-ass as usual.Dobbs Twenty
BEYOND awesome, Steve!! Your hats are always the best! You're looking lean but not mean under there!!Wegener "Colonel"
I'm Spartacus! Er, I mean, I'm Harv!
Wearing my beat up Dobbs Jet 707 and a jacket dated 1954. Visited my girlfriend's resting place today after one year. Glad this forum exists to brighten my day up.

Thanks. This Lobbia Borsalino was a good choice and BSHW did the best to give it the original beautyThis hat is one of my favorites of yours. Love the color and the look. Very impressive!
Many thanks companion of hommiesBeautiful!
Matt you are completely right....no piches on this one!For some reason, I hesitate to put a pinch in this one.
That's a beauty right there Matt.Yesterday, after seeing Harv's fantastic Resistol, someone made the comment about not seeing very many non-westerns of that brand.
It inspired me to bring out the Resistol Beaver Twenty homburg that rlclark was kind enough to direct my way. It is the only Resistol I own and a beautiful hat with very fine, supple felt. I can't recall seeing pics of others Resistol homburgs, but I am sure that they are out there.
For some reason, I hesitate to put a pinch in this one.

Have a great Tuesday folks. [emoji111]
Impressive! Nice hat too.Not a Bonsai Master but an accomplished Bonsai Gardener...
These picture's from my Patio last Summer.
The hat is a Monterrey Sauza Panama.
You can call me "nobody".... haha. I know what you mean though. It's rare to see a fedora in SoCal. Like others have said, put a hat on and step outside. You might get a comment or two, but you will also receive an occasional compliment.Ok. Question #2. Where's everyone from? I'm out here in southern Cali and nobody wears real hats.

Beautiful Resistol , Matt. Love seeing the fall colors in the background. We don't get a whole lot of that here.Yesterday, after seeing Harv's fantastic Resistol, someone made the comment about not seeing very many non-westerns of that brand.
