I have to ask , What happens when you eat the worm ? I heard , but would like you hear from an expert . (You need a Sign : WARNING ! No Open Flames within 20 Feet !

Nothing happens, you get to the bottom of it and bum a shot with the worm, some mezcales have a scorpion.

The sign should read, do NOT smoke, stay close to a stove, barbecue or fireplace, do NOT jump, run and if you have to fart check that no one is standing behind you !

If you know how to sew the transition to hat making isn't that hard.
I'm a tailor but focussed more on hats after a while.
You should give it a try if you want to.
Time providing of course. There are plenty of us here who will help and point you in the right direction.
