Hey friends and fellow hat lovers!
Thanks very much for the appreciation of my recent posts and compliments on my repair projects.
Today, my day in the sun. The Dobbs Sunbrero, that is!

Have a great day!

Lovin' that posting time. Coinkidink?

Belamey Homburg today. I wore it for my daughter's 16th birthday lunch...! But had to remove it to practice because it was messing with the way I hear stuff.

Oh my, 16. Good times.
You look pretty young, so she must be a sweet teenager. My father blames us for his grey hairs.

And that's the most impossible instrument to play!

She is a very sweet teenager. I have two others-- a 13 year old girl and a 9 year old son. I used to think I'd need to invest in a shotgun for when the middle child brings home her first boy, but now I believe I will give him a hug. She will eat him alive (and I'm proud of that!).

Been playing this thing since fourth grade, and it's my career instrument, so I don't have much awareness of the learning curve anymore! ;)

I wasn't aware there were "pretty" bug bites, but somehow you seem to pull them off! Perhaps the start of a new trend

It looks tiny !
[...]
But you are SUPER WIDE Dude , and I understand .
Maybe it's due to brim shape and perspective. It's a bit low crown and that is a thing I don't like on that hat. The felt is amazing, brim size is nice but Resistol didn't (and doesn't) make them with taller crowns.

You don't even look like the same guy in the Avatar Picture , but its cool . If I saw you like that I wouldn't know you . o_O Are you sure that's 4 inches ?
I asure you that's a 4" brim.
And yes, I'm not the same guy in the avatar. I'm a bit older :)
