Honeywell, eh? A company we do business with was acquired by Honeywell a while ago.

First thing they did was move customer service from Orlando, FL to Rumania, which hasn't worked well. Lead times that used to be about two days are now a couple of months. We buy elsewhere as much as possible these days.

A couple of weeks back, Honeywell acquired the logistics automation company, Intelligrated, one of our biggest customers. We are hoping this one works out a bit better and doesn't get screwed up.

Honeywell seems to be in the business of buying out businesses. The facility I work at originally handled footwear. They moved in another Honeywell facility that handles PPE, and then moved in a third facility. So, basically, we're three warehouses under one roof. It's a mess there. Benefits have been cut back, salaries frozen, excessive overtime hours, and more demands added to our work load. Luckily for me, I'm retiring soon, this year. I'll work part time there, though. Love your Penny's straw.
