That's a stunner, Esther. I may have a new favorite.
Aw thx Bama!

That is a gem Esther. Great color combo, size and shape. Out of the park.

Thank you Michael!

Nice lookin' blue, Esther! I like the ribbon treatment, too.
Thank you Jim! Yes, I know you like those contrasting ribbons.

Très jolie. :)

Merci!
Esther, you're outdoing yourself that turquoise is gorgeous.

Thank you! Yes it's a very rich felt and the color is out of this world.

Great ensemble, Michael!!
Thanks A"n'A. My camera, or camera skills, really struggle with that jacket. Can't seem to get the color right and it really doesn't want to pull out the overcheck that is supposed to be tying that all together. I guess it could be my eyes too, which are none too good these days.

As much as I like the Atwood, the crown is just too short for it to stay in place on these windy afternoons. Had to come to the house for a bit and swapped hats. Joao makes a good point about how cool it is to be there when a hat is made like I was for the Buckaroo I usually wear. I swapped the ribbon for this hatband, I'm not crazy about the little tassel. I've got another horsehair band somewhere, but I haven't seen it in years. It doesn't have the tassel and I think it would look nice on this hat...I just have no idea where it is.

Thanks all. Joao, the shirt is an old Wrangler. It's super thin, great for warm weather but not very tough. It's has a rip on the inside of the left arm I need to try to fix. It's the only medium tall shirt I've ever found, and it fits me really well. Could be a bit wider in the shoulders though. Big brims and taller crowns have a place here. [emoji1]

Michael, I don't know exactly what color this hat is. When I picked it out I was looking at one of Mike's old hats that he called steel gray I think. He said it was one of the first ones he made. This one was supposed to be the same color, but is a bit darker than I remember his being. When I got it I didn't know much about hats other than tack store Stetsons got destroyed in a hurry. Didn't have the cutter dents at first, was a typical cattleman crease. Over the years I've modified the crease a little (some intentional and some not), tweaked the brim and the dents just developed from me having to shove it down a little further to stay in place.

I'd like to get a more traditional buckaroo hat. Maybe I will one day.
