Bulletproof or not, a truly lovely hat

It's a substantial felt. Late 50s, perhaps early 60s. Definitely not thin and pliable like some of my dress vintages, but still very supple and nice. It just gives me the impression a satellite could fall on me and, if I was wearing this, it would just bounce off.

Everyone is looking stupendous today, despite the heat!

In light of the oppressive temperatures around our world I chose this PHD (my first Panama) for today. The photo is from the day I received the hat back in February, 2008. Hope it helps to COOL us down...

A guy with his Mom, a gob of Ice cream, his teddy bear, and a GREAT hat!! Life doesn't get ANY better than this! (I failed to mention his BIG smile!)

It's a Toyota MR3. Sort of a low-end sports car, but it's loud and fun and has a five-speed manual transmission. Kind of like driving a go cart on the freeway.
