VS Panama. Perfect hat for when the days start getting warm.

Ooooohh, breezy! Nice hat, David. Thanks for choosing that for us today. :)

Excuse my grumpy face!

A lovely hat, Esther. ...and a lovely face. ;)

Sunny, so it's panama time. I seriously need more summer headwear!

Yes! Please get more Summer headwear and post it in this thread!! Nice!

Same hat as yesterday, to show off the other new baja.

Sweet. Weren't you burning up in that thing? Can't imagine it breathes much.

Cordova Cap in our 50'F morning.

Awesome. Awesome. Awesome!!

Topper day... Melton & Co.

Goodness gracious, Fabio!! Where's your time machine, and how do I get a ride??? :) Beautiful ensemble, my friend!!

...Wide Wibbon Wednesday, so a "pug" gets me in the door. My first Panama... Apologies for Miles' photo-bomb.

Nice WAR. Nice Panama. And nice photo-bomb!! LOL Cheers!!

An Akubra Balmoral today. We may hit 95.

Knotten, did it hit 95 today? 'Cause you are HITTIN' it in that hat!! :)

1940's Whippet , gray green with a green ribbon.

What a gem! Very nice Whippet, 40Cal. I absolutely love the green ribbon on the grey-green felt. Super combo!

Jaxon brand "Monk"

Sick gauges, Bob! The Jaxon looks great on you. Is that their fur felt line?

...I am going to try to get out and enjoy it in the Guatemaya straw.

GREAT brim on that hat, Michael. Lots of shade. :) I like those shoes, too.

BGCD today.

Looks great on you!

60s Dobbs Panama to combat the heat today.

Terrific choice!

My contributon to W.A.R. Wednesday (that's Wonderfully Awesome Ribbon btw). My Penney's Marathon Velour, ca. 1920's

You called it, Moe. That IS a wonderfully awesome ribbon! And I DID have a wonderfully awesome day!! Thanks!!!

...Mine on the other hand is:

...yours, on the other hand, puts casual to shame! Nice job.

30s Knox Premier reworked by Bob at BSHW.

HARV!! Absolutely stunning work by Bob. The hat looks brand new. Lookin' good, my man!

A classic Stetson western form, c.1930... here it is resting where my hats rest in the office.

clearnutria060816.jpg

I'd like to rest there also, and snuggle up next to that hat. Just terrific, Alan. THAT lid is a statement.

Weary from another hard day on the job. Good thing this hat is not heavy. Dobbs "Jamaica"...

Nice "Jamaican" straw, Bob. It looks sharp on you.

Tonak "Iradon" probably late 1950s.

That's one of my favorite hats in your collection, Joao! Awesome crown and brim dimensions.

I wore my Panama straw gambler - the widest brim I have. The sun was strong that day.

That looks like a winner to me!

Dobbs "Bishop". Everyone looks great today!

So do you!! You look like you stepped right out of a French Connection movie.

Had a nice meeting and lunch with Steve today. Seeing the new Czech find was a real treat; some true treasures in that bunch. The European felt is so nicely pounced and finished, it must be actually held and viewed with the naked eye to really be appreciated. It was a pleasure to visit Steve again, and hopefully, we will do it again soon. Any of you fellas fancy a DC road trip? No pics of us wearing hats, but I did snap this shot of the Czech hats laid out. Thanks for your hospitality Steve! Very much appreciated. Next time, lunch is on me.

As always, WELL DONE, folks!!
Wide Wibbon Wednesday, so a "pug" gets me in the door. My first Panama, from Panama Hats Direct, finished by Art F., and re-ribboned by yours truly. This was the lid that re-ignited my interest in hats. Maybe I should have ignited the hat...

A huge thanks for the compliments on the NWH Sunbody

I saw there are a great amount of splendid felt hats mixed with straw.
It is the last springtime weather caprice.
Here everyday there is rain and sun with sultry weather except after the rain for a while
