That's the Akubra "Sombrero". It comes open crown and with the brim with much more of a taco curl. Generally doesn't look all that great in store's product photos, but a tiny tiny bit of tweaking and it really looks like a '20s original.

And sadly, only available in one color.

Wore my SBCD in to the office today - hotly anticipating the arrival of my BGGCD from EA next week.

Harv, It was open crown and didn't require any steam for creasing. It's a size 58cm so fits ok. I have few more of them I will post photos of later. Yes lets plan to meet up.

Very much the same with me. Every once in a while someone will comment with more interest than a passing "nice hat" and I will take the time to discuss further. But I guess to the passerby it must appear no different than a modern hat.

Yes this usually happens to me at a bar / pub. Someone will ask about a hat I am wearing which will lead to further discussion. I also have a few friends that are into wearing vintage hats but don't post here.
