Thank goodness it's STILL RAINING! I spent about $75 on grass seed this week, then spent the weekend casting my seed about; a job most of us look forward to. Today should produce the first signs of green.

Late to the party on commenting on this post. However, I can't be the only one a bit gobsmacked that you have no Whippets in your collection. I know, I know, in the grand scheme of things, they are at best middle-of-the road examples of mainstream hats, and probably don't compare as favorably as a No. 1 Quality, Nutria, Vita-felt, etc. But I would have guessed you had one or two in your collection.

As an aside, do you concentrate your efforts on a certain era or area? Am I correct in guessing you would prefer a pre-WWII Stetson, Knox, Borsalino, etc. over most others?
