Opening Day in an Open Road clone. It's a great day to be alive and wearing a Dalton in Dayton.

I shall not let the morning rains dampen my spirits.. They're playing the 140th Opening Day game in Cincinnati!

Life is good. I hope everybody had a great Monday. And for those baseball fans out there, like me, I hope your team wins. Unless you're team is Philadelphia, of course.

Whoa, the morels are up in Missouri already? I'm going to have to make a plan to get into the woods sooner than I thought here in Iowa. I like the green visor straw too. I remember wearing my grandfather's hand me down straws when I was working in the fields as a tyke.
