Thanks so much, Matt. It's that classic gray, like the 17% neutral gray photographer's light measuring cards, I think. It measures to be a 3", non-dimensional brim.

An early morning finds me preparing to smoke a turkey for evening dinner. I was working in a vtg. Sovereign Stetson (green felt) and a Pendleton.

I had to run out to grocery shop and changed to a VS Stratoliner clone with dove felt and a charcoal ribbon.

Now that our feast is slow smoking the dogs and are out for a walk around the lake. A Cordova Cap and Filson wool are keeping me warm.

My wife and I have been so busy in the run up to Christmas, so apologies for neglecting this thread, but that's not to say that we both cannot resist lurking on here for a few minutes each day, or whenever we can, just to see the updates on your fabulous hats. Hats worn with pride and with confidence, you just make our day. Love it.
