Dave, I meant to ask, have you posted any other shots of the Knox you got at the Outlet? If so, I've missed them. I didn't know they were carrying those there. I get to visit in January.
I didn't post very many, but the reason it was discounted was because the sweat band was very cheap leather that was already flaking. I've since ordered a high quality sweat to replace it with. This was not a standard hat they carry at the outlet, but something that was obviously returned from whoever ordered it. The sweat had a hat store's name stamped in it, so it was a custom order. But the rest of the hat is superb in quality. Not sure why anyone would have put that sweat in it. You will find a number of Knox hats there though.

Hey everyone!

Good selection today.

I agree that Esther makes a great looking men's hat as well as her ladies' lids.

Today I went with an old favorite. My 60's Resistol 3X beaver that was my first conversion that came out nice. It was also the easiest, as it was a mid-weight felt, fit was just right, all it needed was a trim and reshape. Also, the only scissor trim job I did that I didn't touch up after I made a rounding jack.

Thanks. It just surprised me they had Knox. I didn't see any in January when I was there and, aside from an Instagram post Deckard put up several months ago, didn't know you could still get them. Weren't they/exclusive to Levine Hat Company at one time?

Panadora, Bob, Moe Bushman, the Coyle's Downtowner isn't a bad looking hat. I was looking at those sometime back. Now I know what it looks like sitting on top of someone's head. Not bad.

Haven't worn this one in a long while. Belgium made City Sport Cap. Great hat for my Longshoreman job on this cold wet evening....

Terry, you would have fit in on any dock in the country in the 1930s...great look.

I'm back from LA, recovering from smog breathing while sitting in traffic.
