This just in from Johnny. Bi-swing in lightweight wool.

OK, it snowed here yesterday. It was only a few minutes, but snow in October. Yikes.

Esther – Gorgeous rust color on that hat. Do you mind if I ask a few hat making sewing machine questions? Let me know.

Serge – Nice hat. Sorry for the cold.

Hato – A man after my own Whippet. Nice colors on that one. How do you get those crowns to look so tall?

Fruno – Awesome Akubra. Which one is it?

NYC – That’s a topper. Your caps are the best!

Casehopper – Gorgeous. Simply gorgeous.

For me today, my 40's Whippet.

And a great Whippet yourself Bruno. The tall crowns are a photographic illusion;)

definitely not an illusion

I've studied the hato crease style and technique .... it has become a go to for me and exists on probably 80% of the hats I currently wear

I don't want to be the one to give up the secret ... not that it is actually a secret :)

Early fifties Playboy

Count me in as one who strives to emulate Hatophile's creases. Always expertly done. I'm also really digging Miami's sharp breaking brim. It's got 40's film noir all over it.

Tommy, I think you do a mean crease yourself! And your vintage felts always look exquisite.

Yeah, Miami's brim is the bomb today!

Thanks for the kind words Hato, Greg and Moon

absolutely beautiful Tommy

I'm chasing a few Playboys currently ... hoping to land one soon

my desire to own one is great

Moon, you're going to love that Playboy when you get it. The ones I have seem lighter and floppier than my other Stetson's of similar vintage. Of the Stetson Trinity (Whippet, Stratoliner and Playboy) they are my favorite. I have two Whippets and two Stratoliners and probably will not get anymore (famous last words, I know) but Playboys I will continue to hunt.
