Mayser "Spezial", probably mid 1950s.

Moehawk, Thank you! Really like the Trachten elements of your John Batterson! Also high quality components / construction!

Harv, Thanks! It's always good to have a shop hat. Your SB Campdraft fits the part perfectly!

Daniele, Fantastic Barbisio! Looking forward to your next installment!

S4C, Sharp Brown Caxton Strat! Like the tie too!

David, The Midnight Blue color of your Tumwater is a winner. Also like the pearl bow pin!

Robert, Always happy to see a black hat. Nice crown setup on your Stetson 4X Open Road! Also great photo!

Robert, Great photo of you and your daughter. Super hat too!

Bruno, Sharp look as usual! Stylish 40s Marathon! Your son is following in your footsteps with his Caxton!

Casechopper, So great to see the Selentino / Tonak Melusine! Finally some real felt hat weather!

Knotten, Your Campdraft is a standout!

Bob, Your Campdraft looks super brim up!

Greg, Super Flecked blue tweed 8/4 from J. Cordova! Also great overall look!

Charlie, Beautiful colors at work! Your VS Light Sage fits right in!

Esther, Great weather her too! Your green hat with leather band is a winner!

Alan, Your Stetson Standard Quality Feather weight is picture perfect!

Frunobulax, Fantastic finish on your Riverscape thin ribbon!

Moon, Super smooth finish on your 1950s Silverbelly Open Road 25! Fantastic felt!

Bob, Charley, Moon, Steve - thanks for the comments on the Tumwater, guys. TonyB makes some great hats and this is one of my favorites. I don't know what he does to the felt, but none of my Winchester based hats have the finish Tony gets.

This blue hat was inspired by a 30's Dobbs that is in the collection of missing Lounger Delectans. I wish Al would start posting again, his hats are a fedora fan's dream.

Here is a look I don't effect too often. As my father used to say, I had to go see a man about a horse.

Thank you, my friend. I love old expressions like that. I don't hear too many people using them anymore.

And thanks to Simon82 and moehawk, too. We should know whether the horse came in by the end of the week, and then you may never see me wearing this get up again. ;)
