Looks more grey than blue to me

That is one I do covet from you. Wish my Nutria had that brim size.

Joao, is is a sky or baby blue. I have a grey one too, though, and the difference can be subtle depending on the lighting.

I love that deep brown Nutria Quality hat. It is by far the favorite western I own.

Joao, it is actually a sky or baby blue. You can see it better in the second photo.

I have a grey one too, and the difference can be subtle depending on the lighting.

I really do love that deep brown Nutria Quality hat. It is by far the favorite western I own.

Hato – As usual, you are wearing it right. Nice Whippet. Color?

Strapped – Excellent Caxton. Perfect if the weather there is as bad as it is here.

Esther – Wonderful color either way, Orange or Pink. And that second hat you are wearing is perfectly Joaoesque.

Panadora – Very nice Mallory.

Again with the Camp Drafts. Must be a bunch of bad weather out there.

hatsRme – Love the color combo on that one. Very special.

John Galt – I love those Champs. They are so utilitarian. Nice.

Moon – Outstanding. The color combo, the block, the look. Primo.

Bowlerman – excellent bash on that Open Road. Nice color, too.

Damn, Balding, you have the best colors for your hats.

Mayser – Incredible hat, incredible bow.

Joao – Only you can wear hats like that. Awesome.

1Mach1 – Funky hat. I like it.

Moehawk – I don’t even know if Joao would call that a brim.

For me, my 40’s Marathon. Simple, but great against the rain.

I'd been wanting to do a gunmetal ribbon on black felt for some time, thinking that it was a good contrast. Happily, Harv liked the idea!

Harv, it's good to see you wearing it, and the shirt is a nice choice. Need a face shot sometime...

Looking good, Joao!
Thank you.

Stetson 3X Western conversion by John Galt tonight.
I think it would look great with it's full brim but what is made, it's made.

Joao, Great Stagecoach duo!
Thank You

Lighting is the most important thing in those hats (also computer monitor calibration).
I like the color of my Nutria but the brim is too short :(

Joao, I like the bands on both of those. And that crown on the Turkey Creek...that's a monster! Is that more than 7"?
That was the main cause I got them. No, not more than 7", Stagecoach hat line do not compete with Tom Mix model. It measures 5.5" as creased, the band is 2" wide.

Oh yeah, wore my Biltmore today. At 2" brim length, Joao will need to bust out the microscope!:)
Does it still called a brim? ;)

Joao – Only you can wear hats like that. Awesome.
I have to agree with you. Do I look suspicious? ;)

hahaha

I'm not sure if an awesome joke just went over my head like a morning dove or there really is a video

honestly I learn from pictures in this very thread

cats like hatophile, g.druand, Short Balding Guy, Miamibruno, Alan, Tommy, and yourself show me all I need to know to make a hat look razor sharp

thank you as well for the compliment... I am loving this hat

Nah, nothing went oer your head. My Google-fu is weak right now and I can't locate the video, but it was of an older fellow in DC who blocked hats, and he was using a wooden hat block to put the creases in. The way your creases looked, it appeared you may have been using that technique. Regardless, great hat!

It's a sunny day, that means t-shirt and a light jacket. My classic Trilby will do perfectly, even without black suit, sunglasses and black tie. :D
