Early morning dog walk in a Pendleton Board Shirt and a VS Stratoliner inspired fedora (dove felt).

Moe, I applaud you for tackling the brim binding. Looks good - it seems it would take an experienced hand to get it right.

Last night, I switched off the Dalton I wore to work and took the Silverbelly CD to The Great Darke County Fair. Crappy selfie, sorry.

French fries and sausages and funnel cakes, oh my!

You're right. Apology accepted but that Camp Draft will stand up to any bad selfie. What? No fried dough...?

Great start to the weekend, gentlemen.

Moehawk, I like your hat way better with the binding matching the felt.

More errands today, including replacing a dead dishwasher. I HATE replacing these things because the size of the connectors for supply and waste lines never match from one unit to another. Better than paying upward of $100 for someone else to do it, though.

Wearing a cheap Wal-Mart cap so I don't worry about messing a good hat up.

Look'n good everybody. Summer seemed to have ended instantly today, 45 mph winds, black skies, lots of trees down everywhere. Braved the storm in my stuffsmith (Keith Lo Bue) cap

Feeling my Texas roots this morning, so it was the Trimble in its original cattleman's crease for a cool morning walk. But it warmed up fast and the ribbon got pretty soaked...

... so it was time to switch to the Panama Straw Open Road for our trip to one of the 109 Pennsylvania fairs...

Good thing I went with the straw. Otherwise, I would have traumatized this fella...

Now, it's time to resist my Texas roots and relax with some Little League World Series. Go Pennsylvania!!!

Mike, that is a fine 45 mph cap and a great jacket.

David, I always look forward to pics of that dualist. One of my favorites and on my wish list.

Thanks, Bama. This hat only exists because I bought a Panama from Optimo in Chicago (most expensive hat I've ever bought) which I disliked. Art saved at least some of it by converting into the Dualist.

Ingineer - that hat from NW Hats is great.

Dave - nice job with the Texas roots today

Moon - I'm glad that Trevi reposted your new Penman. What a great hat.

Mike - super hat from Keith

Sorry if I missed anyone - heading out to meet my wife for what would have been lunch if she'd been on time :)

Black Sheep Hat Works this afternoon.
