J. Hückel´s Söhne "Superior" (This hat is between a soft and stiff felt hat so worn without side dents. Late 1930s.)

So many great lids today, gentlemen! Well hatted one and all!

My broken record continues to repeat

Been sitting at home all day taking care of my youngest, who's fighting a stomach bug. Pajamas and no hats for either of us all day.

I've been enjoying the parade of excellent lids, and am fighting the urge to make a list of makers and styles to expand my collection. Too many nice hats and pics to list without worrying about forgetting someone. Keep the hits a-comin'!

Thankfully the time away from the office has allowed me to pull out the camping stuff for the family trip this weekend. We're headed out with some other families who haven't camped before, and have agreed to bring LOTS more than I usually bring with us.

Cool weather is coming in, so I may be trading my fedoras for a wool watch cap. Thanks, everyone, for providing lots of inspiration. Or, at least being enablers to those of us still looking for the perfect hat. :)

Thanks for the appreciations of yesterday.
Wednesday morning the weather changed.

I went to the gym with the gray sky and I went out with rain.

This is the result for the beautiful Peschel in its short first tour of Verona

I will change hat: a workhorse for a copious rainy day.

Many hats to comment, but I remember all of them with pleasure

Michael, two stunners. You look great in those thin ribbons, man.

Joao, the flat 4" brim on that Stetson is awesome!

S4C, great ribbon on that Champ. Is it brown, or olive?

Daniele, the Peschel homburg looks great! Shed the rain too!
