Nice one, meyser! Love the color. My hat of choice is one that I save for occasions such as today. It is a waxed leather Henschel Safari I found at a yard sale 3 years ago. Here in NorCal we have a bit of a pineapple express blowing through with lots of wind and rain. It is not my best looking hat by any means, but it is totally waterproof and heavy enough to stay on my noggin in anything under 40 mph winds.

Due to the drought we have been suffering, I don't get to see this one wet very often.

Everyone have a great day!

Love looking at all the hats. Tommy, that's a fantastic Turf Club. Moehawk, I could use a heavy rain hat like that now and then.
I'm feeling stingy today in a Dobbs 20, circa late'50s. I don't normally like small brims, but this one has a great Cavanagh edge, and my head was the first to ever wear it, far as I can tell.

Rick, Thanks!

Eric, Thanks! Also not the best lighting in my photo. Fantastic series of vintage Stetsons! I agree about green being a versatile color. Also super VS Wanderer!

Harv, Thanks! Really like the felt color and finish on your Kevin McAndrew!

Charlie, Thanks! Very sharp looking VS Whiskey!

Greg, Thanks! Ernst Köln was a men's store. I am not sure who made this hat but it has a nice finish / color. Really fantastic Paul Stuart Italian flat cap! Great match with your tie and vest!

Mike, Super BSHW! I really like the felt color combo and natural brushed finish!

Bruno, Great looking Stetson Twenty! Really like the tie too!

S4C, Red, Black, Gray explosion of colors! Your trusty Stetson is a great fit!

Joao, Super combo with the Tom Mix and Stagecoach. I especially like brim curl on the Tom Mix!

Knotten, Good to see your stingy Dobbs 20!

Moehawk, Thanks! Like the rain effect on your Henschel Safari! The brim stitching looks great!

Tommy, Fantastic Stetson Turf Club! Great crease!

Richard, Great look with the Irish tweed flat cap!

Sam, I really like the bow change on your Campdraft! Awesome coat and glasses!

Excellent hats in the last week.
An honorable mention to every proud wearer.
Today in a windy and grey Saturday morning a bold green and fuzzy Guerra 1855

It is a good companion to others long haired Italians hats I showed in these days

Super Saturday selection, Perry!

Daniele I want to touch that hat... Very, VERY nice, but don't drop it in the woods; you'll never be able to find it. Love it!

Today, on his one month birthday, a guest appearance by my grandson Jonah, dressed to kill with his "Janie and Jack" matching cap, bow tie, and shoes. The boy is a sharp dresser already. Guess who bought these items (60% off, of course)...

Oy, I'm KVELLING!

Out on a camera hunt for old stone arch bridges in a nearby county. So wearing my good old Duck Commander ball cap for tromping thru the brush.

Charlie, too sweet for words. Perry, I've really enjoyed your western week. Daniele, thank you for sharing this lush greenery. I haven't see color in months.

Today I wore a Knapp-Felt derby. It drew a few comments at the coop, which was a welcome change from the two meters everyone is usually talking about.

I'm imprressed by the huge amount of snow and from the temperature below zero (Celsius grade) I see on my phone in Buffalo. Here we were lucky because we dodged the snow that fell abundant throughout the rest of Italy. On the hills around Verona already at 300 meters above sea level there are 40 cm which is well away from the two meters of Buffalo . Good luck.
