Heading out to a funeral on a cold and rainy afternoon. Grey Dobbs doing it's duty on a grey day.
Thankfully, this fine display of hats today, and a pot of chili on the stove and cornbread in the oven are warming up my evening.

Jalapeño cornbread, no less.

That 100 is 100+!
You rock the bowlers Horse.
Seems like a lot of funerals these days. My wife and I attended one just 2 weeks ago. Looking very appropriate Dale, and the chili and cornbread sounds good.

Joao, I like the Big Country about the best of yours.

Dale, jalapeño cornbread - it rocks! Send some freeze-dried here to NYC!

Beetle, great 100!

Sam, that Fed is really nice!

Super hats in these days. Thank to all for sharing.
A recently acquisition: Barbisio Titan melusine finishing.
View attachment 22685
It is an old/new stock from a mono brand Barbisio shop. There were thirteen in the golden days in Italy.
View attachment 22686
Made in beaver with the classic dimension of italian hat of the period: brims are 5 cm. and crown 11 cm.
View attachment 22687
The finishing is excellent and the felt of superb quality
View attachment 22688
Very pliable and confortable.
Hope to put it and its companions soon on the Barbisio thread

I'm sorry about the funeral. That is a very nice hat, however.

Thanks The Good, Greg NYC and Hatophile.
Perry I think you're right. Three I know since New Year, and one the week before Christmas.

Injineer, beetleything, ofcourse, Dale, Joao, Daniele, very impressive display guys. Injineer, love the Bushman.

Ohio State pounds the Ducks, 42-20, to win the national title. I dusted off my 30+ years old Woody Hayes Ohio State hat for the occasion...

Go Bucks!

Story about Woody Hayes. Ohio State was trouncing Michigan by a large margin. On the last winning OSU touchdown of the game Woody Hayes called for a two point conversion. After the Buckeye victory over Michigan a reporter asked Woody why he went with a two point conversion since he didn't need it. Woody quipped, "Because I couldn't get three."

Good morning!

Mark the dark charcoal is a fantastically solid look!

Daniele that Melusine is just Magnificent!

Dale sorry about the funeral, but your hat is in perfect decorum.

Joao you continue to amaze with your multi-hat days!

Beetley you may relax now, sir. You have found a Holy Grail!

Greg the cap collection continues... Quietly! Sweet favorite, there, man!

Okay, ok, Terry... Great ball cap! Go Bucks!!

A Stephen L. Stetson classic for me today, "Never Connected In Any Way..."

Checking the credits on an All-time favorite western genre film...

Charlie and S4C, Greg groks your great grays today! Charlie, I haven't seen that particular Western yet, but I'm a big fan of the genre!

One of the best westerns ever.

Thanks Charlie, and great Stephen L.

Nice Knox S-4-C

You do the Duke proud, Greg.

Congrats TJ. When the Bucks beat the Tide, I figured they'd have no trouble with the Ducks.

Greg you must get hold of that one... done in the early thirties (right after The Wizard of Oz) the ONLY ONE of its type, a reel peek into the past.
