David, hope everything is okay.

Hey teach! Nice to see you and that great crm hat! Enjoy your date night.

So many good-lookers.

Also, I'm really enjoying the writing!

Eric, what a pair!
Sam, nice beret, and the tea shades are a perfect combo.

HRme, incredible past and present-ation!

Steve, looking great in that bowler!

Greg, excellent doesn't even begin to describe it!

G Durand, those pics look great too!

Alan, always enjoy seeing that lovely bit o' moss!

I'm a day behind but don't think I wore a hat today, not sure I even made it out of the house. Yesterday I wore my wormser stingy, roughly 1 1/2" if I remember correctly.
I remember why I don't wear this much. It took way too many shots to get a decent photo; I think the dimensions and taper are all wrong for me, but I do love the colors and the felt.

Eric, Harv, Greg, Jeff, thanks to all of you for the compliments.

Charlie--the brim is 2 1/2" but gets dwarfed by my big skull.

Dale--yes, Austin has really become a big city but still has the charm. If I could find work here I would consider moving back, too.

I took your advice about where to eat. Doing the Texas thing in a Texas hat.

Yesterday and today a 2 hat day.
Yesterday I started with this dirty Resistol buckskin 20x Diamond Horseshoe.

At lunch switched to this long hair Thoroughbred that got sprayed.

Today I had to go to the hospital because of a abdominal pain. Without looking what I picked, glad it was this Stagecoach.

In the aftermoon I wore my silverbelly Stetson Tom Mix but the picture is bad and out of focus so no picture of that.

Hope all is well with your health Joao. Nice show of westerns. I especially like the Diamond Horseshoe, the dirt gives it character. Some people pay top $$ for that look brand new.

Michael, I hope the brisket was good. I used to live about two blocks from there, so it was on the menu all the time, as you might imagine. Great hat for the job. Enjoy the rest of your visit, and post more photos.

B-man I really dig that green stingy. The little yellow feather and dog pin are top shelf. Those are the little details that really take it up a notch.

Excellent looking Excellent Stetson Greg! You are rockin' it!

Still shining in the CRM Historyteach24. Looks like you are having fun in it, too.

Perry, thanks for the photos! The modern Strat has a higher crown than I would have thought!

S4C, the color and shape - well, you're rocking them!

Joao, I wish the best for your health!

Today, blue herringbone newsboy from Paul Stuart.

I love the way it is and it had more dirt but I brushed it... This was a hat used on a ranch.

Joao, I wish the best for your health!
Hope all is well Joao?
Joao, sending good vibes your way, brother. Wishing you well.
Hope you're feeling better Joao.
Joao, wearing a silverBELLY should help relieve tummy troubles (not for the beaver, though)! Best wishes, bud.
Thank you all. This treatment must be done for 1 month so as long the pain doesn't come up, everything is fine.

That one is sublime, Alan.

Tony and Greg,
Yes, I have been pleased with the style and dimensions of the new Strats. They are not up to par with some of my vintage hats but very functional and wearable.

Yeah, I'm pleased that there are now new hats in such styles -- hats that are readily replaceable at your friendly cyber-neighborhood hat retailer.

I always wanna kick myself whenever I do any sort of damage to old things that weren't really meant to last as long as they have. I mean, they just aren't making any more 1920s, '30s, '40s etc. hats, or periodicals, or radios, or overcoats, or ...

And, you know, if you use that stuff as it was meant to be used, it'll eventually show signs of it.
