Compliments of John Galt. This is my Son, Matthew, wearing a Dobbs stingy brim. The hat is a perfect fit for him and he loves it. The hat has nice Western weight felt...unlike his old man, he smiles in his pictures! :D ....

Terry,

Love the smile! I'm wearing one too now

The passage in the autumn in Italy is longer, although the nights have cooled.
Yesterday I spent a long afternoon tidying up the hats arrived in the summer.
The collection is too large and some of the hats will be sold. I will keep you informed for those who are interested in European hats
Today after a cold morning I put in action this Panizza President.

And 'quite stiff compared to others of this excellent hatter.

The shape is typical of the Italians "alpinetti" , not the shape of the crown that is totally different.

During the day the temperature reaches 24-25 ° C. but the evening is around 11 ° C.
It is time for felt that make me happy

Thanks for checking out my Borsalino from yesterday, guys.

Splintz - the shade of the felt changes quite a bit depending on the ambient light. It does indeed look to have a purplish tone at times, in indoor lighting it tends to green - especially the ribbon.

Great hats yesterday - just keeps on getting bettter!

Bluegrass Whippet for me this morning

Daniele, Your Panizza President looks great. Good to hear you are getting cooler felt weather.

David, Fantastic Bluegrass Whippet! Super color contrasts (felt, bow, binding).

Daniel; Look sharp.

Dave; Wow, I do love that Whippet. Classic style and a superb example.

Greg; Everything is better with a Stylemaster and a Barracutta.

Fall heat wave - 10-15'F warmer than normal. Taking the morning off, I completed morning chores in my Portis Dixie.

David, wow, the bluegrass whippet. Man.

Tommyk, the Dobbs is stunning. Crown jewel.

Everyone looks great. Great western ngineer.

Joao, sweet ribbon on the Stetson.

Beauty of a stratoliner, dh 66.

Eric, I dig that ribbon.

Greg, yes! The taper of the stylemaster really works for you.

Thanks for the comments yesterday. Hrme, you overestimate my stature! The brim is only 2 1/8, but probably just looks like 2 1/4 on my frame!

Limpia Creek this morning.

+1 to bowlerman's comments, great hats today. Wearing my stetson crushable Santa Fe in disneyworld this week, it really does a great job of folding up and resuming its shape after all the rides.

Cool pictures today, starting with David's ode to blue. The sideways shots are little painful to study, a tapatalk bug I take it?

It was a beautiful day to ring in 5775 here. I took a long walk to services and back and had a surprising number of nice comments on my New Year outfit... including a thumbs up from a colorful cashier at the co-op with the largest gauges on the block.

This Borsalino Feather Weight is one of the first hats I purchased on eBay. Zetwal always wanted to trade for it, so I knew it was a keeper.

Sorry about the sideways pic! It looked OK thru Tapatalk, but 90-degrees viewed otherwise. I think I figured out how to fix it going forward.
