Great hats as always guys, you inspire!

Today, I swapped the current issue Stratoliner airplane pin on the Royal Deluxe Cornhill Stratoliner for the DC3 repro of the originals...
The Stratoliner in Sterling will go on the gray Milan Strat.

And donned the hat for a pic (sorry, I caught myself blinking Lol), mixing in another of my hobbies (hope no one minds the firearm, an AR15 pistol I built last year, just got the new optic for it yesterday).

I really am liking this new Royal Deluxe Stratoliner, would love to find one in black (need to check what others are offered, would also love Caribou and Siverbelly).

Thanks... the painting was done by my Uncle Nat. I have a few. This was from the 1940s-50s. In the 60s he was into embedding Savarin coffee cans in lucite. The family loves his 1930s WPA work and portraits. He had a studio on Park Avenue South above Max's Kansas City. His stuff burned up at least twice during his years there from grill fires in the restaurant.

So unfortunate, he was very talented, very nice works of art.

I'm getting jealous of the straws you gents are wearing. When it's hot enough here for a straw, as it was yesterday, it rains. Then it cools down and rains some more. At least the grass is nice and green this spring,

I'll be going into a client office tomorrow, so thought I'd get the Australia market Akubra Fedora ready for trip into Cleveland. It's supposed to rain - what a surprise - and you can't get much better than an Akubra in the rain.

Another inherited hat about which I know very little. It is a typical black felt fedora --2 1/4 in. brim, 4 1/2 in. crown, and a black 1 1/2 in. wide ribbon -- made by the Raffaelli hat company of Milano, Italy. At the top of the lining is a crest marked "Qualite Superior."

Now that I see it in daylight, I see it needs a good brushing.

Anybody know anything about the company?
