End of day test drive of a new hat - 160 years old. Fits good. More photos and story in the New Hat thread.

Yes, that lovely Topper looks to be from 1840-Mid 1860's. It is a masterpiece, and is in such pristine condition. Wow! It would look ever better, complimented with a "Prince Albert Frock Coat". None the less, it is an incredible gem, and you sport it so well.

Thank you for the shared appreciation of this great old top hat. I am really thrilled to have it.

Metropd, great to see your photos in this thread.

Garrett, another beautiful BSHW renovation... the new sweatband fits it well.

Javier, I'm pretty sure your Borsalino is older than 1970s some additional photos would help. It's a beauty!

Rick,
Not 100% sure but I think no later than late 70, I could be wrong... David DJH may know better I adopted it from him a few years back.

Hi Javier - nice to see you are still enjoying the Borsalino. I'm not good at dating those hats but when I bought it, the seller (the Colonel of Lounge ill-repute, no less) told me the hat was late 50's or maybe early 60's I seem to recall.

Joao - I'd love to see a photo of you wearing Richard's Homburg, That would be a classic!

Feels more like November than late April here today. Still it means there is still an opportunity to wear some favorite felt hats for a while.

VS Executive style today, inspired by missing Lounger Eric (short balding guy).

Thanks folks.

Gear-guy it's The Akubra Homburg in Acorn - either from Everything Australian or Hats direct (I can't remember which).

David - very nice tribute to Eric (hope he'll be back soon).

Harv - no problem with two shots of that beauty.
