Fine hats today everyone! Congratulations on all of the 10 year anniversaries!
My father and I spent some time together at the rifle range doing to 600 yard target practice, I have decided my BG campdraft is my range hat.

My point is......when it comes to hats.....the materials and processes used today are sub par to the ones from the past. Thats why we love vintage hats. When it comes to guitars, and more specifically SOLID BODY guitars....there is honestly very little difference. Not enough to explain a $25k-$30k difference in price. That's just absurd.
I don't see the $25k-$30k for those vintage guitars either. It makes sense why there's very little difference between the modern day Telecasters, Strats, and Les Pauls and the ones from the '50s. Those models are still in high demand to this day so the process of manufacturing them has remained pretty much intact, and in some instances the technology of manufacturing them have improved....Hats are another story. There's no real demand today for Newsboys or Fedoras....that reminds me, I need to get a new switch for my Telecaster!

Richard:

Terry - if you covered my patch I could have found a re-felting job for you (and no I can't afford your travel costs ;) )

Dang! I was looking forward to the trip! Nice Linen cap btw.

Joao:
Thanks.I don't play much. I wish I could but this fingers don't want to. That is the Goth Studio version.
Just a bit of practice when you find the time and you'll have it licked!

Javier, I like the crease in your Homburg. I've been thinking about getting one of those.

Rogera, I really like that BG Campdraft.

Hamilcarbarca, There's a Stetson I like! It looks worn and has loads of character! Nice!

Miamibruno:
Wow. I'm 5 days from my 10th. Anniversary not wife. Here at our kids dance recital. I'm the one with the hat. A Whippet.
We just passed our 40th back in February. I've been married to the same woman all those years, plus we dated through High School too! My wife keeps reminding me that she's a trophy wife because she says she desrves one for putting up with me all those years! I'm not liking her sense of humor here....very nice Whippet btw, and a good looking family as well.

casechopper, I think a Squatter looks pretty decent with the brim cut down some.

I was traveling a little this week and missed a lot of great posts.

Happy birthday to you, Garrett. 30 :eusa_doh:... such a youngster, but I remember that being a particularly difficult transition.

Yesterday in NYC for the day.

Visiting a friends studio, found this one down the hall. Yes, it is that Ultra Violet.
