What Hat Are You Wearing Today 1?

I found this little Dobbs for my son the other day. He loved wearing it that day-- I wonder if I'll see him in it again!

Yesterday I went with my Tumwater too. I lowered the brim a bit, perhaps it's a seasonal thing?

Stetson 5X Clear Beaver, c. 1940

Proverbial hen's teeth hat... two have surfaced on the Lounge. This size 7 fits me best shortly after a haircut. I added the hatband today - it dates from the same period. A closer look at this beautiful Ambrose Roanhorse piece here.

I seem to have developed a thing for homburgs recently; I just picked up a pair of identical twins last weekend at one of the local vintage shops. I think they're probably from the 40's as the crown is lined with oil silk over the brand logo.

Absolutely beautiful hatband on a fine vintage hat. Great jacket too.
The out of place-ness of your outfit to the setting and pensive expression you wear, along with the uninviting looking weather outside, make for a dramatic effect.
You have an eye for composition.
