"KLEINHANS CO. - Buffalo"

Doesn't look like that hat traveled too far! It has a proper home, indeed, Alan. :thumb:

What is the color of that ribbon? Copper? Salmon? Looks as rich as a brand new Lincoln cent!

During the era when Buffalo was one of the largest cities in the U.S., Kleinhans was one of the largest retailers of mens clothing. You'll find this imprint on many vintage hats. But this one never left town and was destined for a life in the theater. The hat and ribbon are a little darker than they appear in this photo. The ribbon is a dead ringer for the metallic mauve color of my parents 1960 Thunderbird. Wish I had that car to go with. :)

David - I didn't know Adventurebilt made anything that looks like what you're wearing. Very nice.
John - I really do like caps on everyone...but me...
Beauty of a Mallory - HRme!
Hatophile - always dapper, and another fedora I've never heard of. I'm assuming vintage again?

Definitely Autumnal today - time for the Harris Tweed. Cap is one I picked up from the ebay Beaver Brand sales (well it didn't add anything to the shipping cost so it seemed rude not to :) - cap's not bad, although the pattern matching is rather rudimentary:

Thanks for the comments on the weekend's lids.

Great hats and caps guys, too busy at work to follow today.
Andy the Deckard Powell was from our own Matt Deckard who had a hat line for a short time. Now I understand he's working at Stetson to make a line of vintage style hats.

David - Lovely Adventurebilt

Thanks, Richard. I like your tweed look for today.

Nice swoop on a nice hat David.

Thank you, John. Nice looking cap for you today.

Magnificently Marvelous Mega-Mallory Monday to you too, Charlie! Nice hat.

Hatto - nice to see the Powell. Not worn mine for a while.

Sam - the Knox looks great with that shirt

Memph - great Buckeroonie!

Alan - very cool Borsalino

David, wow, great shape color and swoop!

Thanks so much, Manfred

Bert - can't beat a nice Open Road. I'd suggest the other might need just a tiny stretch - I'm sure it will be just fine!

David - I didn't know Adventurebilt made anything that looks like what you're wearing. Very nice.

Thanks, Andy. This AB is a replica of the grey one worn by Harrison Ford in the 4th Indiana Jones film (also made by Steve Delk).

Here's that Ford dude in his:

CaseC the Squatter's a CLASSIC.

David you got me... I did look up Memjet Technology, and you're right; VERY impressive. Perfect backdrop for that Playboy!

HowardEye that's a heck of a deal for that beauty!

Rag&Bone the Squatter really suits the suit beautifully, man! My favorite era/style. And those magnificent lapels will keep you nice and warm...

Still pulling out the old Pen(dleton)s... with a Black Sheep Hatworks "Shakedown," in dark moss.

Thank you... it is a nutria felt made in Italy by Barbisio and imported and sold through a Bulgarian shop - somewhere in the 1930s. Quite a few prewar Bulgarian Borsalinos have appeared on eBay, many in very fine condition. Recalls the Bulgarian refugee couple at the gambling table in Casablanca.
