David - beauty of a Borsalino. Around what year is the manufacture of this one?

Hatophile - never heard of George's before. I'm assuming vintage?

A very western look for me today - Akubra Snowy River with a David Morgan leather hat band. This hat pre-dates David Morgan being the importer. It's something of a cross between an Australia market Snowy without chin strap holes and a U.S. market Snowy with a liner.

Great stuff!... fine Superfine, a bossa Borsalino, a white stunner... and the coach is back. :eusa_clap

In L.A. for a couple of days. Great dinner at Casita Mexicana and then off to Irvine. If you are up for the Solar Decathlon at the Orange County Great Park, stop by and say hello. I'm the guy in the Stetson buntal (somebody said it was 90 in L.A... not so.)

David, good color and very nice thin binding on that Borso.
Perry, George has done ya good this morning-- what a happy hat!
Andy, western wears wonderfully well on you!
Sam, always like that Know, but haven't paid attention to the super twist in the bow until this morning-- very cool.
Eric, when I see your hatted photos I'm reminded that I'd like to behave classier than I do! That vintage exec looks brand new.
Alan, say hello to my former stomping grounds! They'll appreciate the presence of that sweet straw.

Alan, I had plans to be in LA this week until a work-related emergency forced a cancellation. Too bad, as I would have loved to have taken a drive out to the OC.

b-man--superb example of Royal-ty.

I broke out the navy Optimo as the weather is cooling here.

Bowlerman and Manfred - it was seeing you in your homburgs that convinced me to purchase a good Stetson homburg as my first foray into that type of fedora. As it turns out, the sweat, which seemed somewhat pliable, dried out and cracked after the first day of wear - so off it went yesterday for some R&R at the VS clinic. It's a shame, as the sweat had plenty of nice lettering on it. But it is what it is - and a new sweat will give me another 60 good years of use out of it.

Now I'm interested in finding a '30s era hommie...

Perry - great western

Andy - nice Akubra - the band works well.

Sam - that Knox is a real beauty - I love the colour

Eric - that executive is one of my favourites of yours - I keep looking for an executive in a 7 1/2 / 7 5/8 but I think they're like hen's teeth.

Alan - Lovely parabuntal and that's a great almost abstract shot out of the window

Jeff and G.d - looking very sharp gentlemen!

A fine hat Eric, and beautifully presented Sushi & Sashimi.

Nice straw, Alan! I'm sure the weather in LA is still lovely. :)

Jeff, the angle on that brim is simply killer. Perfect look.

Nice optimo, G.D.

Eric, you are the definition of a classy hat wearer. Perfection.

Richard, love the hat--and your outfits are always so well put together.

Borso for me today on a week of perfect weather in KC:
