Nice Henry. Hope the game went well
DJH - beautiful stetson
B-man you were made for that soft derby (or it for you, whichever)
MoK - great Akubra

I was so inspired by fitz's new O.R. that I broke my own out after work. It's still 90°f outside but I can enjoy it inside in the a.c.

Steve - great ribbon on that Wegener

Jeff - A nice pair of hats. Interesting to see a Lords hat and you describe it as a soft-bowler -I'd always considered it a more casual homburg :)

David - nice stetson

M0nk - that Henry looks great on you.

dh66 - The OR looks good with the classic crease

A beautiful morning here in Northeast Ohio. Right now it's cool, though with the sun I imagine it will warm up some today. I enjoy this time of year - not too hot, but not cold either. Soon. though, the rains will come.

Today I'm wearing my taupe Como. Notice how much different the color looks depending on lighting. It's a chameleon.

David, the 7X is outstanding, and wears so well on you!
Monk-- wow! now there's a brown hat that shines and glows!
Andy-- nice to see that Como, I don't think I've seen a modern Borsalino up close-- looks great!
Charlie-- I don't remember this VS-- super!

Thanks to all who commented yesterday!

Richard-- Normally I'd agree with you-- a lord's hat being a casual homburg with no brim trim-- but I had no other way of classifying this. Open crowned it's definitely a derby block, but not stiff at all, and the curl is all wrong for a bowler, plus no binding. Who knows!?

Different breed of lords hat this morning, by falcon park hattery.

Very nice hats everyone. So many possibilities out there limited only by how much I've got in the bank. If I indulged even a little more, my account would soon be empty.

Another Fed IV (Tawny Fawn) with showers forecast:

Looking sharp, MOK. Are those trousers vintage or can one actually order them today?

dh66, what is the vintage of your OR? I also like the frames of your specs.

Thanks for the 7XCB comments, guys. No question, if you ever find one of these Stetsons in your size, you just have to grab it.

Today, Borsalino - recently arrived from Rabbit (thanks, Nik!)

Richard I believe it may be unanimous... that's your best brim width!

Jeff that FP's an amazing color and the shape just WORKS for you, sir! The reason you've not seen this VS... it's my secret stingy.

Orange... AGREED! Taupe is one of the MOST versatile, chameleon-like colors to wear. Always perfect!

Hairy and HAPPY Selentino, Sam. Great lid for the chill of fall!

David you have arrived! That's a Beaut-of-a-Borsa!!

DH66 the cattleman's crease simply does it right for that one. beautiful!
