Tonight I worked a bit on re-bashing The Dallas (Mallory), then looked over a painting I've been working on between long days at my job.

Durand- Nice Mallory. I really like this style of hat. I have a custom a lot like it.

Splintercellz- Your AMC looks great and good for it's age. I would like a heather finish hat one day.

Daizawaguy- Your panama looks custom made. Very much in your style.

Jeff- Your Hollywood Borso wide ribbon is cool. I've tried the look but I'm to square to pull it off.

AnA- That has to be my favorite blue hat ever. Your Champ looks new.

Indeed not the best New Hampshire day yesterday (but you did have a nice hat!). We were without power for a couple of hours as a result of one of the rather nasty thunderstorms. If I were you, I'd have gone and chilled at Peter Christian's.

Thanks for the comments on yesterday's hat - contrary to some people's observations I find the Christy's felt holds up to rain pretty well, with no shrinking. The sweatband is another matter...

I have 7 or 8 stingy brims and since I have a small head size 6 7/8 they dont make
me look like I'm "swimming in a hat as much as a wider brimmed hat would do ( althought my wider brims when worn
correctly look fine on me ).

That is a very kind compliment! I love it, because it's not too deep, so it's less formal than midnight blue, but still sharp for a suit. It will go really well with jeans and casual attire.
