Thanks David - the wide-angle and slightly upward shot doesn't do the proportions any favours, but yes I'd love an 1/4" extra brim. Even and extra 1/8th would be nice - It's 1 3/4", so not the stingiest of stingies, but that bit too stingy for me to be really comfortable with. Still it was only about £15 including postage so I'm not going to complain. It will get the occasional airing, and would serve it's original purpose as a packable travel hat occasionally.

gd. Much better than my attempts at ribbon work so far! Nice hat.
