AnA: Cavanagh sure made some nice lids back in the day! That one looks like "cousin" to my grey Cavanagh Homburg. Slight fray at the end of the ribbon?

I'm sure it is. I missed out on a "brother" to my hat in a homburg; same color, ribbon, and sweatband. Mine doesn't have a liner. Though, yes, the ribbon does have a fray at the back.

Man, I am LOVIN' the photos lately, everyone. Always upping the ante around here!

Al, gorgeous pictorial.

Alan, that Milan is stunning, and stingy works for you in this pic! I always find I like my stingies more after the haircut (a rare occasion).

Javier-- I would clear outta the way if I saw you approaching dressed like that, with that Lamson Hubbard on. Fantastic.

Really digging that black one, Hamilcar.

Alive n' Amplified... what can I say? You rock the homburg, dude. Looks totally natural.

Joao, simply a fantastic Resistol. I dream of finding a nice raw brim cattleman in a long oval someday.

Winter Joe-- that VS is stunning. I was wearing a similar one yesterday, from Falcon Park Hattery.

David, the W&W full monte(cristi) is an all around perfect straw hat. Beautiful.

Sam, the Greta blows my mind. It makes me want a nice raw brimmed beaver hat. What did Cane Rod Maker call that felt color? The flange is really spectacular.

Anyone having trouble with the new Imageshack?

They are updating the website, and now it seems to a)keep me logged in no matter what I tell it to do, b)no longer gives the option of resizing as I upload, c)I only accidentally get to the old version of the page where I can do my usual upload process, d)re-orders all of my photos, and d)does not give me the option not to include details so every pic I post links to my entire library.

Somehow I got through the process this time, but again-- totally by accident.

I wore my best OR on TAR Tuesday: a Royal Deluxe.

And my Falcon Park "Virtuoso" yesterday:

I changed the center dent to a high teardrop because, for some reason the center dent was starting to appear tapered and asymmetrical.

Stetson Clear Nutria w-i-d-e

Lily and I went to the movies last night... when we got home, Donna had finished removing the stitching and remaining shards of green edge binding. It took her all of Iron Man 3 to pull the dry rotted thread one or two stitches at a time.

Did I mention that I love this hat?

For you... free. You can't be too cool.

That said, my daughters have alerted me if I wear this hat to their graduation, I'm a dead man.

Nice hats today fellas.

Alan, I would love to see the hat box for that one.

Today my son and I are out and about in our Panama and Parabuntal straw hats.

Thanks for the kind word, gents. Nice hats today from the lot.

Lotsa life left in that Adam, Javier.

Good looking Dobbs VVL, JG. Is it really very, very light?

Great photo, John. Seems like last week that my kids were that age.

Even though it is cool enough, I wasn't sure I was cool enough... so left the house with a simpler lid
