I feel I'm letting the side down with a Christy's wool, but I like it (a cheap first venture into telescopic crowns), and all the time it keeps it's shape it's not being replaced (and it's holding up well to English weather):

Perry: Thanks, though it was Indycop who did the re-ribboning. I'm just enjoying it.

Alan: The project list never seems to grow shorter. As one project is finished another 3 are added to the end of the list. Love the Duplex!

Thanks Rogera, Manfred, A'n'A (the Savoy works well for you) & manofkent (I appreciate your photos, the porkpie is nice and low-key).

hatsRme: Nice to see the premier out again.

For today: CRM Greta

True that a wide ribbon model called the Open Road came out in the 30's but disappeared.
The iconic Open Road that last still was not introduced until the late 40's while the thin ribbon, bound edge Stratoliner in lightweight felt was released in the early 40's.
The unlined, lightweight MainLINER is more of a StratoLINER clone for sure...

Thanks for the info!

I bought a Miracle Felt Vagabond a couple months ago, and I did post some pictures of it here, that may have been what you saw. I thought it might be the only one of its kind. It's a neat little hat, softest felt I've ever seen.

Conelrad:

Same model, same color. Nearly the same (great) price, if you bought it for about $17.00 on eBay. I will post mine in the Vagabond thread.
